Two of my friends have been trying for years to finish &quot;Midnight&#039;s Children.&quot;  One of them says it&#039;s her favorite book of all time even though she&#039;s never finished.  I&#039;ve read it all the way through, but I suspect it was because I had to read it for a class.</description>
