Actually, the project sounds very cool (yes, I've been trained to read press release speak). It's quite exciting -- though I do understand one's need to check certain inclinations at the door. We are, after all, a civilized society.

Send puffery away. I feel confident it will be better spelled, more logical, and more relevant than most of what I get. Plus it's so nice to hear from you!

But it's just a "news" bit. It's a spiel. When I've got something real and substantial, and not just as "I'll do some cool stuff with PopMatters in 2007..." I'll totally let you know.

And I'll blog about it when it's more than a press release.

I may be a media whore, but even I have my limits. I try to check my flackery before entering the blog door...

That all said, you are a publishing blog, as oppsed to a pure book blog, so if you don't mind getting the puffery that GalleyGat and Michael Cader and PW and Rachel Sklar get from me, then you asked for it ;-)
