When I go into a book store to get a gift or when I take my family there, I expect to see the books I am looking for. It is getting more and more difficult to buy books w/o ordering them. I also go there with library fine $$ to get replacement books, but I don’t see the books recommended in prof journals or NYTimes (children’s books).
I know local bookstores are best, but if Borders disappears, we’ll be getting closer to no bookstores here, so as a writer I’m cheering for it to survive.
