I’m curious as to the nature of your disagreement.
You’ll never stop “challenges”, that’s just people whining and complaining. They’ll do that. If you passed a law against complaining, people would complain about the anti-complaining law.
As for actual bans (removals), the article says that “all but one removal…took place at schools”. In looking over the list for 2008-2009, I can’t even find that one exception.
It seems to me that a bigger threat is how close the Philadelphia Free Library System came to being shut down this month, following the temporary closure of the Seattle Public Library system, both for cost-saving reasons.
