A Life Worth Reading

Of all the celebrity memoirs out there (like, seriously, is Britney Spears even old enough to have memories?), I suspect Barbara Walters’ may be the best. First off, I think she can actually compose sentences herself. Second, she’s actually lived an interesting life. Third, well, the woman can tell a story (not to mention her ability to get others to spill their guts). Considering the way supposedly poor publishers throw advance money around, I’m personally glad that some of it is going to Barbara. Besides, what is a mere six million dollars in today’s economy?
