I hope they can fix Next, but something tells me that it’s time to rethink a lot of things at Harlequin. Like, oh, the concept of line all together. But you know me, always wanting more. And more.

Which would be another marketing problem leading to the demise of a line. (sigh) Because the bookstore owners were never sure where to shelve the line. With the category books? Or would they have better luck putting them in the regular fiction part of the store?

I’m hoping that the reevaluation of Next turns out to be like the reevaluation of American, and they can “fix” it, because I think there’s a need for those kinds of stories.
