Thank you, Booksquare.

It didn’t help me in the least, but I am beyond redemption. You probably have a chance, being young and all.

Susan — I haven’t checked lately, but I believe Clear Channel owns everything. It makes it easier to keep track of what you have when you have it all.

Curses.

There are very few true “local” radio stations left. The independents are the ones who will be the run out of business by the FCC. And once they are, you can guess who’ll buy up their broadcast license.

Give the thing a rest, would ya? I mean, come on, folks. It’s made a gazillion dollars, but that doesn’t mean someone else should crawl out of the woodwork daily to try to get a piece of that over-sized pie.

They aren’t making huge profits, and too many $300K+ fines, well…that could just drive them right out of business. Which actually might make some people happy as it would further consolidate things and make control easier.

(TV stations used to be PAID by the networks to run programming, and they must now PAY for the same programming instead. This has dramatically changed things in tv-station-land.)
