In these here parts (upper midwest), we speak of the stuff in terms of feet – but one thing is sure – it’s going to be a white Christmas. . . and then a white January, February, March . . . well, you get the idea: a white forever and then, with luck, the time will come to flee to the south and never see anything that is cold and white and driven.
Happy Merry Everyone!

When the first cold front hit, I told my boss that it should be in the policy manual that it is okay to call in “cold” and stay home. Snow, when I’m at work, gives me a headache. I just know that on the way home I’m going to get hit by someone skidding on it. Sleet is a whole different category of fear. If it starts sleeting, I am out of there. If administration doesn’t like (I work for OSU) it they can fuc*ing fire me.
I think half of American will agree with you on this one. (The southern half)
