We spent a little extra time in line at the grocery store today — somehow the customer in front of us made it out of the store without paying. We weren’t clear on the details. Our time was spent looking at the new issue of Newsweek. As it turns out, America’s bestselling author is not Carson McCuller — the honor goes to Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, co-authors of the bestselling “Left Behind” series. We’re not sure how this series flew under our radar for so long, but that’s another issue: the article also explains how a short person can be photographed on the same plane as a tall person. Oh, and some stuff about the books and how the authors work together, that sort of thing.
