Today’s links of interest:
- Tribune Co. Redesign Could Kill More Book Coverage
Though we are book-centric blog, we think the Tribune redesign is going to kill a lot more than book coverage. - Coffee Giant Starbucks to Trim In-Store Music Offerings
Starbucks moves back to selective curating rather than scattershot product pushing. The curation mode made some artists huge. While it seems exclusionary, we approve of the curation approach. Trusted sources, you know. - The Taunton Press
We, being madly in love with the Taunton empire (and not just because it saved our tile conundrum), crib this from Publisher’s Lunch (note the job title!): "Taunton Press has hired Janine Scolpino as svp, enthusiast group and consumer marketing." - How Did I End Up On The Cover Of This Romance Novel?
Of course, it’s better than "How Did I End Up On The FBI’s Most Wanted List". It’s Friday, enjoy.

Re the Trib story: the phrase redesign is a lovely one probably far superior to “Total Panic.” Why can’t the reporters covering the Cubs do book reviews during the seventh inning stretch?
