And now there’s real “live” promotion

This week I’m going to be doing a lot of talking. Actually, it’s a lot of typing. Somehow I scheduled my two promo moments for the exact same week. This is the last week my kids are in school before break – so doing it now sounded like a smart idea at the time. Now I’m just really nervous.

First up is a week long discussion on eHarlequin on Seductions Gone Bad!!!! (Yeah, unfortunately there’s some personal experience there.)

I’ll also be doing a live chat Tuesday on Writerspace.

One of the great things about being a Harlequin author is the phenomenal website eHarlequin.com. That site racks up about a bazillion hits a year, and doing an author led discussion looks to be a lot of fun.

On Writerspace, I’ll be joining two other Harlequin Temptation authors, Darlene Gardner and Jane Sullivan. These ladies are pro, and I suspect there will be a lot of of “yeah, what they said” from me.

I once did a stint on live radio. For some reason, I lived in perpetual fear I’d blurt out a curse word or say something really, REALLY stupid without realizing it (which may actually be better than to realize it). During this author chat, it will be typing. I feel reasonably safe on the curse word aspect, the jury’s out on the saying something stupid.

I’ll be writing up my experiences on the road trip while taking the youngest to gymnastics today. It was a lot of fun, but involved a lot of U-turns in a strange city (would you believe I don’t have to do U-turns in my own home town?).
