Back To The Real World

We stretched our vacation as long as possible (you know it’s a conspiracy to avoid reality when even the cats get in the act), and now we’re (theorectically) revived and ready to get back to whatever it is we do to fill our days. Probably that means acquiring food while revisiting the New Year’s goal of quitting eating. Life is always full of contradictions.

We cannot thank Jill enough for taking over while we were gone — especially after all the hard work she’s done here this month. We returned to find the flowers blooming, the mail neatly sorted, and the world turning in the proper direction (mostly, but can’t hold Jill responsible for that). If you haven’t bought her book yet (and the numbers are dropping rapidly on Amazon this morning…go gift certificates!), we’ve made it easy for you to do so…just follow the yellow brick road*. Jill will be keeping her keys here, of course, and we’re hoping she’ll take advantage of our standing offer to drop in and use the pool and steam room.

So happy holidays (just a few more to finish out 2004!) and thanks you Jill and all of you! We surely have tons of items to post about, so expect to hear from us quite a bit this week.

    Thanks, Jill!

And welcome back from vacation, BookSquare. Glad to hear you had a relaxing time. I’m also glad to see you got right to work and there are bunches of things for me to check out this morning.
