Today’s links of interest:
- Jane Austen to be the latest teenage sensation
"We are on course for the most prolific year of Jane Austen’s career in terms of television and film coverage." So many thoughts, so few ways to express them - Harry Potter E-Book Officially Nixed
Ah, we’d almost buy the piracy argument if it were valid. But we’ll never accept the "because paper is the preferred format" argument. Totally misses the point, in our never humble opinion. - Bloggers can make money, but most keep day jobs
After all, those day jobs provide the fodder for the posts. Money from contextual ads becomes the 21st century equivalent of royalties. - The Fan Fiction Phenomena
As fan fiction fans and writers emerge from the shadows, fanfic goes mainstream. In a manner of speaking. - More cash for J.K. Rowling? Harry Potter 7 planned
Okay, so someone’s going to have to forego a pair of shoes. Maybe two. Seriously, you think you need the dollar version? Who are we to suggest you have more money than sense?
