I have the codes, the passwords, and I now fully understand the complexities of posting links in html (yeah, uh huh).
Of course it’s all very anti-climactic as I’ve been off-line due to a CPU upgrade. Can I just say AHHHHHHHH (and the reason I’m posting after 1:30 in the morning). But it does appear I can surf and generally spend colossal amounts of time on-line much faster. Which is really my goal. I’m thinking if I can get all my time wasters out of the way quickly, I can finally do something productive, like finally sort all my picture negatives.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the holiday season – my first official grown-up party. Oklahoma Romance Writers are converging on the town of Edmond, OK for our traditional game of dirty Santa – we do it with romance novels (of course.) Watch out Edmond – last year the gals also gave me my own Big Blue in celebration of my first sale!
We can’t bring another Oklahoma member’s book, so I’ll be bringing Karen Marie Moning’s “To Tame a Highland Warrior” – a fabulous book (and this has nothing to do with the fact Moning’s heroine’s name is Jill). I was given a free book of Moning’s at the RWA Conference two years ago in New York. I’ve since bought every book in her backlist (which I guess was the publisher’s idea – it worked).
For the first time, this year we’ll also be hosting a booksinging before the party – Best of Books in Edmond. Sunday marks my last booksinging of the year. I’m sure it will be very interesting to be at the mall the last weekend before Christmas!

Ooooo, Jill, I love Karen Marie Moning’s Highlander books! They’re fantastic.
And hey – Booksquare is on vacation. Hmmmm…wonder how much mischief we could create while she’s gone??

Hmmmm…what to do, what to do. It’s such a wide open question. (G)
