If We Don’t Get Arrested…

Okay, here’s the deal. We have a secret weakness for television. Sure, we make fun of it, but we believe television is our generation’s, well, television. Despite the fact that TiVo, that glorious invention, has made time shifting our new hobby (previously shape shifting, but we do so love food), we make it a point to watch Arrested Development every Sunday night. As a rule, shows we enjoy are inevitably cancelled. Naturally, Arrested Development has been on the edge for as long as it’s been on the air.

We do not have warm fuzzies about signing loyalty oaths, but, if we may be frank, did anyone expect Jason Bateman to turn out so cute? And it’s nice to encounter a family that makes ours look functional. Need more enticement? If we don’t have decent Sunday night television, there’s an excellent chance we’ll fill the time with more inane posts. You’ve been warned.

yes, television is highly underrated amongst the literati. My TIVO top 5: Arrested Development, Project Runway, The Shield, Monster Garage, Bewitched.
