For the three or four of you who haven’t already read Jennifer Weiner’s posting about her attempts to write an article for the New Yorker (much less get anyone on the phone), now is your chance. If the publication is not on your dream list, well, you can substitute just about any publication or publisher.

Thanks, once again, for making me laugh.
On a weirder note: I once had a first cousin (no, she’s not dead, just retired) who was an editor at The New Yorker. Since that was well before most of Booksquare’s readers were born and long before I could have availed myself of her services, I guess I’ll have to plan my reincarnation better next time.
Note to Booksquare: Even tho I do not write romances, I read your Blog daily because it makes me laugh out loud and helps me get through another day of tedium at this @#%# computer. Thanks Booksquare whoever you are and keep the info and laughs coming.

Thank you, Lorra. I really appreciate your telling me this!

And isn’t that inconvenient — your cousin retiring before you could use her mercilessly? Some relatives have no consideration for the needs of others! Better luck next life (g).
