More Fun With Graphical Standards

We are not suggesting that the new RWA graphical standards have stirred up a bit of discussion on the Internets, but, well, they’ve stirred up a bit of discussion. All over the place. Sure, we could pick and choose our favorites, but why spoil the surprise. Here’s a sampling of what’s being said by taller, smarter people.

We do not want to influence our readers in any manner, but we might suggest that certain sites should not be read with coffee in mouth. It saves the keyboard.

In related news, why are they called “graphical standards” when they also apply to language?

If I didn’t know better, I’d think that the RWA board had been sitting around doing bong hits and listening to an old record of George Carlin’s “The Seven Words You Can’t Say on TV.” (See them here: http://www.erenkrantz.com/Humor/SevenDirtyWords.shtml)

I do not believe drugs were involved, just lack of Foresight and Planning. This is so Carlin, it’s scary. The good news it’s made me rework my current novel’s opening. One offensive word coming up! Welcome back and I’m looking forward to your BEA thoughts!!!
