More Helpful Marketing Tips

If you want people to read, you need to deliver the material in ways that are convenient for the reader. As a general rule, many of us rarely have the luxury of time to sit down and read for hours at a time. This is actually very sad. What is the point of increasing efficiency if it just makes us busier?

Time alone isn’t the only barrier to reading, and as researchers, well, research new ways to provide reading material to a wider audience, we hope they keep one thing in mind. This is important: change the name of ScentHighlights. Do it soon before the name becomes memorialized. Trust us on this.

ScentHighlights is a truly horrible name. Surely more than one person discussed this? BuddyBuzz is not much better. Technologies sound cool, though!

Alas, this is how great ideas become has-beens. Scientists, though very useful, should not be permitted to name things. That is the purview of people who know how to get people to buy stuff. Something tells me that BuddyBuzz might be construed as an entirely different product…

    That’s for sure! BuddyBuzz, heh.

    Thanks for the great blog.

I was talking to my eye doctor yesterday, who’s been helping me these long months to almost correct my uncorrectible vision, and it turns out…get this…humans were never meant to read! That’s why people like me have such horrible eyesight. Evolution should have taken care of us long ago, except there wasn’t much need for reading in the cave.

So I’m all down with reading these days. Bah! Humbug! Books bad!
