Six Degrees of Tod Goldberg

We have been uncovered: cranky blogger by day, mild mannered student by night. What started as an innocent foray into the world of academia became an experience we can only describe as all Tod Goldberg, all the time. You know things are weird when we start inventing games* — ours was how many connections we had to make between an event and Mr. Goldberg. Our longest stretch was three. They say it’s a small blogosphere. Who knew that they were actually right?

Needless to say, things are going to change around here. No more long, rambling posts about whatever catches our mind. There will be more showing, less telling. We are as disappointed by this as you are. It’s what happens when the triumph of the spirit meets the tyranny of oppression.

* – The last game, rules by us, involved forcing siblings and cousins to run around, pretending they were turkeys headed for the chopping block. There was a theme song.

I think Tod and I are only separated by a continent and Kevin Bacon.
–Check out THB today, you’ve been passed the dreaded ‘black spot!’

Oddly enough, Kevin Bacon has entered this game. It was only a matter of time. Black spot received, passed. I’ve alreayd hit the dry cleaner once this week!
