A Very Short Breather

In order to recharge our batteries (our yoga teacher is truly trying to kill us, but we will not be defeated…handstand is going down. Hmm, unfortunately, that last attempt at bravado is a bit more true than we’d like to admit.), we are taking a few moments off from ranting. But never fear, dear readers, that we will neglect you. To keep you occupied while we recharge (yes, as you suspect, it involves food, caffeine, and napping — not necessarily in that order), we point you to a perfectly lovely rant on a topic near and dear to our heart.

Now if only “Candy” hadn’t ruined the end of every single Flannery O’Connor short…oh who are we kidding? We’ve read them all, but, man, “A Good Man Is Hard To Find” takes us by surprise every time. Also, if you’re in the mood, “Good Country People” is an excellent choice. Perhaps we’ll add reading to list of recharging activities.

Wow! I’m not here for a day and you go and redecorate! I like it; it’s easier on the eyes that contacts can’t quite correct.

    I know, there’s yoga for that…

Ah, gee. If I had known you were going to slack off this afternoon, I would have saved this post for tomorrow.

    😉

Kathy, we live to confuse around here. There’s yoga for everything, but bigger fonts are nice. I’m still hoping for a full redesign for the Booksquare birthday, but this one is really pretty. Makes me feel almost delicate!

Brenda, there is no shame in slacking off…unless you’re scooped by, oh, Brenda Coulter. Now I must work harder. After the Pinot Grigio. Where is the man with my wine!
